The Scooter McGee Show
The show is refreshingly progressive, with an open mic format and an emphasis on conspiracy, collusion and non-transparency of government. The host has a tongue-in-cheek, sardonic sense of humor and a pleasant demeanor with guests regardless of their political ideology. The show is a mix of comedy, paranormal, conspiracy and political topics. McGee notes that "we talk about topics other shows in the [progressive talk] format won't even touch, and ask the questions listeners would if they were sitting in my chair". Much of the show takes the form of balanced interviews, open phone lines for callers to participate with guests, and honest, candid commentary by McGee. The show takes several calls from listeners each hour at the phone number 1-877-353-1310. McGee says that "this is a radio version of a town-hall meeting and all points of view are respected, tolerated and given equal consideration".

Al began to feel the impact of new laws that were enforced to punish successful people by making business growth almost impossible to attain. Government policies and demands became so burdensome and expensive that great ideas had to be stifled, in order to just survive. State and local tax authorities began to punish the financially successful by demanding higher and higher tax rates with threats of stiff fines and penalties for non-compliance. Expensive and difficult laws and policies were rolled out under the questionable guise that government agencies were aiding and assisting business owners. Politically the country set out to punish those who took brave risks that contributed to the goodness of society while rewarding those who were only taking from society. The logic of the business world was spinning madly out of control and time-honored doctrine was being turned upside-down.
Soon the bottom 50% of American taxpayers paid only 3.6% of total income taxes while the top 10% paid over two thirds! This is lunacy! And the ever-accomplice media agreed that this backwards thinking was acceptable and questioned those who challenged this lopsided logic. The print and electronic media has historically leaned left in its collective thinking but was now leaning so hard that it was tipping the scales of fairness. When illogical statements are repeated over and over by familiar newscasters and reporters, they tend to become acceptable, especially if the recipient masses greatly gain from that unfair bias.

A new development this week in the countdown to the Democratic National Convention: Philip J. Berg has filed a lawsuit, in which he alleges that Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible to run for President. His allegations are based on questions about Obama's citizenship. He has asked the U.S District Court to declare Obama ineligible for the presidency on the basis that he is not a natural born American citizen. A separate motion was filed to seek a temporary restraining order against Obama's presidential campaign until Obama's eligibility to run for President can be verified.
Obama's citizenship is being questioned in several different ways. First, is whether or not he was actually born in Hawaii. If he was born in Hawaii, in 1961, He was born on US soil. There is one group that would even dispute that Hawaii is US soil, but the allegation in the lawsuit suggests that Obama was already born In Kenya before he ever made it to Hawaii. Several Of Obama's own relatives say he was born in Kenya, and his Mother flew herself and the infant Barack Obama to get his birth registered as if he was born in Hawaii, making him a US Citizen. The birth certificate lists the race of his father as "African". In 1961, that would not be the term used to designate a race. Berg has additional evidence that the birth certificate was a forgery, including the fact that there is no record of his birth in any hospital in Hawaii.
The suit also claims that even if Obama had an American citizenship, he lost it when his mother married another man and the whole family moved to Indonesia. This action gave Obama an Indonesian citizenship. This would also put into question if he were an American citizen even now.

The unexpected rejection by the US Congress of the Bush Administration financial rescue plan, TARP on September 29 has opened up the spectre for the first time of a 1931-style domino wave of worldwide bank failures. That is already underway across the US banking spectrum with the failure, nationalization or forced liquidation in the past two weeks of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, of the giant Washington Mutual mortgage lender, of the nation’s fourth largest deposit bank, Wachovia.
