The Scooter McGee Show
The show is refreshingly progressive, with an open mic format and an emphasis on conspiracy, collusion and non-transparency of government. The host has a tongue-in-cheek, sardonic sense of humor and a pleasant demeanor with guests regardless of their political ideology. The show is a mix of comedy, paranormal, conspiracy and political topics. McGee notes that "we talk about topics other shows in the [progressive talk] format won't even touch, and ask the questions listeners would if they were sitting in my chair". Much of the show takes the form of balanced interviews, open phone lines for callers to participate with guests, and honest, candid commentary by McGee. The show takes several calls from listeners each hour at the phone number 1-877-353-1310. McGee says that "this is a radio version of a town-hall meeting and all points of view are respected, tolerated and given equal consideration".

The show marks its 300th birthday episode with the Godfather of UF-Ology Stanton Friedman! Nuclear Physicist Stanton Friedman is, arguably, the world's most respected and well-known UFO researcher. Friedman believes two alien spaceships crashed in New Mexico in 1947. He offers what many people feel is proof the U.S. Government has conducted a continuing cover-up of the truth behind what newspaper headlines at the time called the crash of a flying saucer (now known as the Roswell incident).
Since 1967 he has lectured on the topic "Flying Saucers ARE Real!" at more than 600 colleges and over 100 professional groups in 50 states, 9 provinces, 16 other countries. He has published more than 80 UFO papers and appeared on hundreds of radio and TV programs. He is the original civilian investigator of the Roswell Incident and co-authored "Crash at Corona: The Definitive Study of the Roswell Incident." TOP SECRET/MAJIC, his explosive book about the Majestic 12 group established in 1947 to deal with crashed saucers, was published in 1996 and went through 6 printings. The 2nd edition with a new 5000-word afterword was published in September 2005 and is in its 2nd printing. Stan was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Leeds, England, in September, 2002, by UFO Magazine of the UK. A documentary "Stanton T. Friedman IS Real" was broadcast in Canada in 2002.
Stanton Friedman takes a clear-cut unambiguous stand that SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft, that the subject of flying saucers represents a Cosmic Watergate, that none of the anti-UFO arguments made by a variety of noisy negativists stand up to careful scrutiny, and that we are dealing with the biggest story of the past millennium: visits to Planet Earth by alien spacecraft and the successful coverup by governments of the best data: alien wreckage and bodies recovered in New Mexico, for 59 years. He has spent many weeks at a total of 20 document archives. Stan has successfully taken on many critics of flying saucers, Roswell, Majestic 12, including winning a debate at Oxford University.

Edgar Mitchell was the Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 14
Aliens have contacted humans several times but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years, the sixth man to walk on the moon has claimed.
Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up.
Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.'
He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.
Chillingly, he claimed our technology is 'not nearly as sophisticated' as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned 'we would be been gone by now'.
Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.
'I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,' Dr Mitchell said.
'It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.
'I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit.'
Dr Mitchell, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics claimed Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue to be investigated.
He told the astonished Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison: "This is really starting to open up. I think we're headed for real disclosure and some serious organisations are moving in that direction.'
Mr Margerrison said: 'I thought I'd stumbled on some sort of astronaut humour but he was absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there's no debating it.'
Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down.
In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.
'Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.'

Nicholas Daniloff served as a correspondent between 1959 to 1986 for United Press International and U.S. News and World Report in both Moscow and Washington. He came to international attention in 1986 when the Soviet Union arrested him in retaliation for the arrest in New York of Soviet spy Gennady Zakharov. Daniloff’s arrest threatened a planned summit conference between President Reagan and Soviet leader Michael Gorbachev. After six weeks of intensive negotiations, both sides agreed on a compromise and the Iceland summit went ahead in October 1986. Daniloff, who speaks French and Russian fluently, holds degrees from both Harvard and Oxford Universities. He is Professor of Journalism at Northeastern University. His previous books include The Kremlin and the Cosmos and Two Lives, One Russia. Daniloff lives in Andover, Vermont, and Cambridge, Massachusetts

I love black & white movies and 24 hour news. I go nuts if everything is not in its place. I am often called the "king of useless information" with all the trivia in my head. I am a gourmet cook, a talented humorist, creative artist and I have been "married" to my job for 19 years and am looking around hoping that there has to be more to life than this.
